Interdisciplinary Professional Master's Degree in Human Rights and Justice Development - DHJUS
The Master Program in Human Rights and Development of Justice (PPG/DHJUS) is an interdisciplinary program of scientific research and professional training at the Federal University of Rondônia (UNIR), offered in partnership with the State Court of Justice (Rondônia), the State Public Ministry (Rondônia) and the State Public Defense (Rondônia).
The objective of DHJUS is to train professionals to guarantee the justiciability of human rights and the improvement of access to justice in the western Amazon.
The program is aimed at members of institutions and representatives of civil society working in the justice systems of the Amazon region.
The PPG/DHJUS promotes applied research to obtain greater integration of academics with the specific and unique work environment in which they work.
Because of their professional nature, all DHJUS candidates must propose research projects related to their specific role and demonstrate the potential that their research can have to change the reality of access to justice in the Amazon.
The program's two lines of research - (1) Human Rights and the Foundations of Justice; (2) Public Policies and The Development of Justice - combine theoretical density with rigor and technical sophistication and offer qualifications to help in the search for solutions to problems arising in the complex Amazon context.
DHJUS is a course authorized by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), an agency linked to the Ministry of Education (MEC) that regulates Brazilian master's and doctoral programs. In this condition, the DHJUS qualifies for a master’s degree in Human Rights and Justice Development.
Mestrado Profissional Interdisciplinar Direitos Humanos e Desenvolvimento da Justiça - DHJUS
O Programa de Pós-Graduação Stricto Sensu em Direitos Humanos e Desenvolvimento da Justiça - Mestrado Profissional (PPG/DHJUS) é um programa interdisciplinar de pesquisa científica e formação profissional da Universidade Federal de Rondônia (UNIR), ofertado em parceria com o Tribunal de Justiça de Rondônia, o Ministério Público de Rondônia e a Defensoria Pública de Rondônia.
O objetivo do DHJUS é formar profissionais para garantir a justiciabilidade dos direitos humanos e o aperfeiçoamento do acesso à justiça na Amazônia ocidental.
O programa é direcionado para integrantes de instituições e representantes da sociedade civil atuantes nos sistemas de justiça da região amazônica.
O PPG/DHJUS promove a pesquisa aplicada com o fim de obter maior integração dos acadêmicos com o ambiente de trabalho, específico e único, em que atuam.
Por causa de sua natureza profissional todos os candidatos ao DHJUS devem propor projetos de pesquisa relacionados à sua atuação específica e demonstrar o potencial que a sua pesquisa pode ter para modificar a realidade do acesso à justiça na Amazônia.
As duas linhas de pesquisa do programa aliam densidade teórica com rigor e sofisticação técnica e oferecem qualificação para auxiliar na busca de soluções para os problemas surgidos no complexo contexto amazônico.
O DHJUS é um curso de pós-graduação stricto-sensu autorizado pela Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES), órgão ligado ao Ministério da Educação (MEC) que regula os programas brasileiros de mestrado e de doutorado. Nessa condição, o DHJUS qualifica em grau de Mestre em Direitos Humanos e Desenvolvimento da Justiça.
